Long story short
The A2 Trestle is a personal side project that started from a quest to find a reliable and stable trestle on furniture stores. Originally designed for my own office space, this trestle set can be used as a robust stand for glass, stone or wood table tops. As a creative constraint, each component was designed to be CNC machined and hand assembled without glue or screws. Each trestle is composed by pieces of plywood and Valchromat (a mass-coloured wood fibreboard with a distinct look, specially in the cross-sectional surfaces), offering an infinite variety of color combinations. The design also includes a handle and a convenient shelf for small objects like books, computer cases, paint cans and tools.
